Bosporus

Introduction

The Bosphorus is the strait that connects the Black Sea with the Sea of Marmara and forms part of the boundary between Europe and Asia. The city of Istanbul extends along both of its shores. Passenger ferries, cargo ships and oil tankers travel along this maritime route.
