Terms of use

The service

Free Tour Go provides a website and mobile app for exploring cities, reading about places and guides, following walks, and contributing content. Some features require a connection, device location, or an identifiable account. Maps, opening hours, access rules, and other third-party information may change; check important details at the location or with their official source before making a decision.

Your account and contributions

To upload photos, rate places, or make other contributions, use your own account and keep its access secure. When you contribute a photo, you confirm that you have the right to share it and accept automated review using a local model. Free Tour Go may reject or remove content that breaks contribution rules or affects other people's rights.

You keep any rights you have in your photos. By uploading a photo under the current confirmation, you authorize Free Tour Go to store, review, and display it in the app and on the website; you also authorize other people to share an approved photo in their Instagram Stories through Free Tour Go. This permission covers those features and does not allow your photo to be reused in another person's TikTok post. You can remove your photo in the app, preventing future use through Free Tour Go; a post someone has already made on an external platform is managed on that platform.

If you link Instagram and turn on the global credit option, Free Tour Go may include your verified @username when another person shares your eligible photo in a Story. Otherwise, the credit is neutral. This choice does not change permission to use the photo.

Instagram and TikTok

Connecting Instagram or TikTok is optional. Each platform shows its own permissions and applies its own rules, limits, and privacy options. Connecting an account does not by itself enable automatic posting.

Automatic Instagram Stories require a separate activation in Free Tour Go. The app lets you pause that option and cancel a pending Story during the waiting period. A post already sent to Instagram may reveal a place you visited and is managed in Instagram.

For TikTok, you can open your own photo in its editor and finish a Story or post there. When direct posting is enabled, you can also connect TikTok and send your own photo to your profile from Free Tour Go. In that case, you review the photo, account, text, privacy, and posting options, then confirm each submission. We do not automatically post to your TikTok profile when you pass a place. If TikTok rejects a submission or its result remains unconfirmed, Free Tour Go displays the available status and does not resubmit it on its own.

Other people's content and rights

Do not upload photos you cannot authorize, or content that invades privacy, infringes rights, or is unlawful. Respect access notices, photography restrictions, and the people appearing in an image. Photos from other people displayed in Free Tour Go are not available for you to download or post outside the options expressly offered in the app.

Availability, changes, and account deletion

The service is in development. Features may change or be temporarily unavailable because of failures, maintenance, or decisions by external platforms. You can stop using it, disconnect social accounts, and request account deletion. The privacy policy explains how we handle data, and the deletion page lets you start a request even without the app. Closing a Free Tour Go account does not remove posts already made on Instagram or TikTok.
