Eiffel Tower
The Eiffel Tower stands on the Champ de Mars in Paris. The engineer Gustave Eiffel’s company built it between 1887 and 1889 for the Universal Exposition celebrating the centenary of the French Revolution. The tower’s structure is made of iron.
